Recycling is all in vogue. Little Darling #1's birthday is coming up and we decided to get him a new laptop. So we head to the store with the big yellow price tags. We got a good deal on a new Compaq.
Here's when I notice the in-store trade-in program. I'm thinking this is my chance to make Al Gore proud.
The program is for electronic devices purchased from the retailer. This only applies to in-store trade-ins. Basically, you can go to their website, key in the information about said trade-in and they will give you an estimate. Sounds like a plan.
Now I know why no one recycles. The estimated value of a 3.5 year old laptop with a non-working battery.....$13.00. Look assholes at the yellow tag store, if you want to start saving the friggin' planet offer an incentive.
Seriously!
